How Do I Handle This Problem?

 

Step-By-Step Answers to Your Questions

 
-- I cannot get into the insurance Internet site and I need to insure shipments.  What do I DO?
     Why can you not log into the Internet site?
     It could be that your bookmark/favorite link may be broken or corrupted... it happens more often than you might think.

Try this first:  Try getting in a different way:

1)- Go to www.allcovered.net and click the "Log-In" link in the upper left.
2)- Type the direct URL into your web browser: www.aciscargoinsurance.com.

If Steps 1 and 2 do not work here is what you do:
YOU ARE COVERED
Follow the steps below exactly:

Send an email to:

EMAIL SUBJECT LINE:    Shipment to Insure

For each shipment to insure we need the following information:

INTEREST    What is it?
SUM INSURED:    What is it worth?
METHOD OF SHIPMENT:    Moving by Truck? Ocean? Air? Rail? A combination?
TYPE OF SHIPMENT:    FCL / LCL or Breakbulk?
FROM    Insurance begins where?
TO:    Insurance ends where?
EXPLANATION:
   The web site has been unavailable for a total of less than four days in over four years. Still, if it ever is unavailable you can insure.
   This email we ask you to send serves as proof to Underwriters that you would have insured the goods had you been able to log in.
NOTE:
   When the site is again available, log in and insure the goods as you normally would. Cover begins when you send the email.
   Keep this information in mind... If you ever lose your Internet service, fax the above information to us and it will count the same as an email.

We will normally have an answer for you in one or two business days. Sometimes we can answer in just an hour. It depends on the risk.
